Frequently asked questions
What is life coaching?
In short, life coaching helps people to create change in their life. Through support, encouragement and accountability, a life coach helps their clients to move from where they are to where they want to be (and beyond).
A life coach motivates, challenges, gives valuable feedback and celebrates their clients. A life coach can help you discover what’s truly important to you and what’s holding you back. They can also help you identify options available to you, that you may not have ever considered.
As your life coach, I’m truly committed to you and the vision you have for yourself. I help you set goals and create an achievable plan that sees you actively move towards your goals.
In short, I’ll help you to take charge of your life and make the most of it.
How is coaching different from counselling?
Both life coaching and counselling take a person’s current situation into account. However, counselling involves looking back over someone’s live history to discover why they are in their current situation, whereas life coaching looks from their present to their future to achieve their goals.
*If you experience mental health issues such as depression, anxiety or addictions, then counselling or therapy is likely to be a better modality of support for you. Please take care of yourself and don’t hesitate to contact a mental health professional.
Who do you coach?
As a qualified international Life Coach, I help mamas to take charge of their lives by building a strong mindset and recognising their own self-worth.
I have supported past clients to:
feel clear and motivated
be more organised and proactive
overcome fear of judgement and set boundaries
feel more energetic and balanced
start new careers
create freedom-based lives full of exciting opportunities
build amazing friendships
and so much more
Who did you train with to become a life coach?
To support my clients, I use a variety of knowledge and skills that I’ve learned through
my life coach training with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy,
undertaking a variety of classes by the Feminist Coach Academy, and
my degrees in Community Services Work and Sociology.
Combining everything I have learned with my deep desire to help you, enables me to support you fully on your journey from setting inspiring goals for yourself to actually achieving them and creating long-lasting change in your life.
Where does the coaching take place?
1-on-1 coaching calls take place online via Zoom, which means you can be located anywhere in the world. Prior to each session, I’ll send a link for you to log in to our meeting.
I also offer Voxer coaching. (Voxer is a free voicemail app.) This means that you’ll be getting support when you need it and at a time that 100% works for you and your life (aka no more rescheduling calls due to sick kids. IYKYK).
Those two options have proven to be the most convenient way for my clients to fit coaching into their full lives.
I’m not sure if coaching is the right thing for me. How can I be sure?
I understand that it can be a big decision to reach out to someone for help and support. And it can be even more daunting, when you don’t know that person. That’s why I’m happy to offer you an obligation-free call, where we can get to know each other a bit and see if we’re a good fit to work together.
